Get To Know Your Orange Man - #7 QB Troy Green

Troy, Son of Tim, is biding his time on the QB depth chart.

2013 Stats: Green transferred to Syracuse from Central Florida before the season so he sat out the year like any transfer would.

2014 Projections: Green's not going to see the field this year either. The quarterback depth chart is stacked and it's only getting stack-i-er with the arrival of freshmen Alin Edouard and A.J. Long, not to mention the fact that Terrel Hunt has a stranglehold on the starting gig for two more years (fingers crossed).

How'd He Get Here?: Green was hanging out on the scout team at Central Florida as a scholarship player. Then he realized that going to a 56,000-student commuter school in sweltering humidity wasn't all he thought it was. So he decided to follow in his old man's footsteps at SU and walk on to the Orange.

Scout/Rivals Said: Nothing much.

Money Quote: "It's just a better situation than at Syracuse. There are a lot of quarterbacks there."
