Ah, the yearly "Syracuse Orange basketball duo who head to Estonia to play for America's honor and quite possibly the fate of the world."
In the past, it was Brandon Triche & Baye Keita, Triche & James Southerland (though they never made it) and Rakeem Christmas & Michael Gbinije. This year, it will be B.J. Johnson and Tyler Roberson.
Syracuse University basketball players B.J. Johnson and Tyler Roberson will participate in the Four Nations Cup, a four-team tournament in Estonia this August, as members of the East Coast All-Stars.
The East Coast All-Stars is a team of college players that Lycoming (Pa.) College coach Guy Rancourt puts together each summer. This will be the eighth consecutive year that Rancourt has taken a team to play in Estonia.
Any experience is good experience and both of these guys are going to be called upon this season to fill the void left by C.J. Fair and Jerami Grant.
SU fans in Estonia, get ready for your time to shine. The game are scheduled for early August.
