Syracuse Basketball: Moustapha Diagne Will Announce School On Saturday

Syracuse may add another top talent to the Class of 2015 this weekend.

Word on the street is that 2015 recruiting target Moustapha Diagne is deciding between the Syracuse Orange and Memphis Tigers. Word is also on the street that he is going to announce his decision this Saturday at the Mary Kline Classic.

The 6'9" C/F originally from Senegal plays for Pope John XXIII in Sparta, NJ where he is rated among the top 30 players in the nation by Scout and ESPN. He also holds offers from UConn, Rutgers, Villanova, West Virginia, Cincy and Oregon State, amongst others.

The good news is that Diagne is probably getting worked over pretty hard by his fellow Mary Kline Classic participants, Syracuse commits Frank Howard and Malachi Richardson. The event is also hosted by recruitnik Alex Kline, who goes to Syracuse. Not that that means much, of course, it just puts a lot of good juju in the room.

Diagne attended the Syracuse - Duke game in the Dome, so hopefully he remembers what that sounded like and could sound like again with him in uniform.

If he commits to SU, he'll join the aforementioned duo as well as forward Tyler Lydon, in the Class of 2015.
