If you were on Twitter on Friday, you knew something was up. The coaching staff was playing the game. "We got new recruits but have to be ambiguous about it because well, you know, the NCAA."

And then it happened.
Syracuse lands St. Thomas Aquinas OL teammates Sam Clausman and Colin Byrne

Update: And then it happened again. The Orange received a verbal commitment from tackle Cody Conway a few hours later.
Sam Clausman is 6-4 and 290 pounds, but was not rated by Rivals. Beside Syracuse, he had an offer from Marshall. UConn, North Carolina and Ohio State also showed interest. Byrne, a two-star recruit on Rivals, is 6-5 and 295 pounds.
But Syracuse saved the best for last. Conway, a three-star recruit, had several offers including from Connecticut, Illnois, Nevada and Rutgers. He stands at 6-6, which would make him the tallest member of the current roster along with Jon Burton.
Neither Byrne nor Clausman has visited the Syracuse campus, but their relationship with offensive coordinator George McDonald gave them a comfort level with the program despite that fact.
It continues McDonald's dominance in the state of Florida. Syracuse now has seven verbal commitments to the Class of 2015, including four from Florida.
Of the class, SU has three offensive lineman, two corners and two running backs. Before the announcements, Syracuse had the No. 66 recruiting class, according to Rivals data.
