Syracuse To Take On Michigan In 2014 ACC/B1G Challenge

The Orange will get a chance at revenge for the 2013 Final Four.

USA TODAY Sports

The match-ups for the 2014 ACC/B1G Challenge have leaked and it looks like the Orange will get a chance at a little payback.

Following their win over the Indiana Hoosiers in the Dome last year, the Syracuse Orange will travel to Ann Arbor to take on the Michigan Wolverines this year.

You may remember the last time these two teams played. The Wolverines beat the Orange 61-56 in the Final Four in 2013. Yeah, I'm guessing you probably remember that.

It will be the 15th meeting between the schools overall. SU currently holds an 8-6 advantage in the series. It's the first time the two schools will meet on-campus since 1988, which Syracuse won in Ann Arbor.

There will be very few familiar faces when the two teams meet. The Orange are entering the season without C.J. Fair, Tyler Ennis, Baye Keita and Jerami Grant while Michigan is replacing Nik Stauskas, Glenn Robinson III and Mitch McGary. About the only two constants will be John Beilein and Jim Boeheim.

Other ACC/B1G Challenge match-ups will include:

  • Ohio State at Louisville
  • Indiana at Pittsburgh
  • Iowa at North Carolina
  • Maryland at Virginia (takes a second...)

The entire lineup will be revealed later today.

Now we can update what we know about the 2013-2014 basketball schedule...
