While the last five years have been as successful as any stretch in Orange history, save for the 2003 championship run (and that tournament success looks like an aberration, as the Orange had a 3-3 NCAA tourney record in the preceding four seasons and a 2-3 mark in the following five years), these "could-have-beens" leave SU outside the elite of college basketball. Had Syracuse won any one of those rings, or any one in the future, the bluebloods’ number would be seven.
His talent was so apparent early on, former special teams assistant John Anselmo asked about the freshman when he was recruiting his two older brothers at Lawrence High School on Long Island. Then former receivers coach Rob Moore started requesting transcripts and watching film on Fredericks as a sophomore, just to keep tabs on his growth.
Personally, I am happy with the way the season went for me because I was able to play my game, mess up on my own, correct things, and build from each game. I appreciate how Aquila Basket been able to advance my game and point out things for me to work on in the summer. With the playoffs ahead, I look to give it my all, do whatever it takes to become victorious.

When we watched the film we noticed Notre Dame, really both teams, shot the ball really well. I was impressed with their placement. Everything was right in the corner with a lot of velocity.
