Syracuse Football Recruiting: 3-Star Florida CB Gerald Robinson Verbals For 2015

SU picks up its first Florida recruit from the Class of 2015.

Congrats to the University of Syracuse, which is an affiliate of Syracuse University, and therefore congrats to the Syracuse Orange football team for picking its third Class of 2015 verbal commitment today. This one comes to us from Florida, where cornerback Gerald Robinson is buying what George McDonald is selling.

Guess those recent trips to UCF, USF, FAU, UF and FSU didn't pan out. Interesting, Robinson committed to Syracuse despite never actually visiting the school.

Robinson is rated three-stars by 24/7, Rivals and Scout. According to the sites, he held offers from Cincy, Kentucky, UCF and Utah.

He joins RB Tyrone Perkins and RB Jordan Fredericks in the Class of 2015 so far.
