Syracuse Women's Lacrosse: Orange Remain No. 1 In Coaches Poll

The Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse squad is No. 1 for a second-consecutive week. Where are our God damn t-shirts?

The Orange received 220 first-place votes, 40 more than last week, and 391 points. Syracuse remains No. 2 in the Brine media poll. The Orange earned a share of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) regular-season title and enters this week's league tournament with a 15-1 record.

The Orange earned three more points in the coaches poll than second-ranked Maryland. The Terrapins had 180 first-place votes and 388 points. Florida is No. 3, followedy by North Carolina and Northwestern. ACC foes Boston College (No. 6) and Duke (No. 7) also rank in the top 10.

It's ACC Tournament time and the Orange will enter as the No. 2 seed behind Maryland, who defeated the Orange in the regular-season (SU still gets a share of the conference crown). SU takes on No. 10/13 Notre Dame for the right to play the winner of the Boston College - North Carolina game. The Orange play Thursday in Boston.
