Syracuse vs. North Carolina Lacrosse Doubleheader Open Thread

It's Syracuse vs. UNC in both men's and women's lacrosse in the Carrier Dome.

If you've been waiting for an entire day you could dedicate to hating the North Carolina Tar Heels, today is your day!

The No. 3 Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse team (12-1) will host the No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels (12-1) in the Carrier Dome for a 3:00 p.m. ET start. The game won't be televised but you can listen to the action on WJPZ 89.1FM in Syracuse. Live audio and video will also be available on CuseTV.

Then, the No. 7 Syracuse Orange men's lacrosse team (7-3) will follow it up by hosting the No. 4 North Carolina men's squad (9-2) at 6:00 p.m. This one will be televised on ESPNU but is also available on WTLW 99.5 FM locally.

Former Orange great Mikey Powell will be performing music before the women's game and during halftime, in case you were looking for a little extra reason to get there early.

The men's contest also has the added level of now being an ACC Tournament play-in game. Thanks to Virginia's loss to Duke last night, the winner of the game will be one of the top four seeds in the tournament. The loser will have to play Virginia in the tournament 5 vs. 6 game.
