No. 6 Syracuse Orange (4-2) vs. No. 3 Duke Blue Devils (7-2) GameThread

A rematch of last year's National Title game when the Orange visit the Blue Devils for their first meeting as ACC foes.

The last time the Syracuse Orange and Duke Blue Devils met on the lacrosse field, the National Championship was decided. The stage isn't quite as large this time around but it remains a critical game for both teams in the quest for ACC supremacy.

Plus, you know, it'd be nice to get a little revenge.

Opening face-off is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, NC. The game will be televised on ESPNU and ESPN3 while you can listen to the radio broadcast on WAER (88.3).

From our game preview...

The Blue Devils have a 7-2 record with key wins over Denver, Penn, and UNC. Their only two losses have come against the #1 and #2 teams in the country, Maryland and Loyola. While Syracuse holds the all-time series at 6-4, Duke has taken three straight from SU. Following their date with the Cuse, the Blue Devils still must face Notre Dame and UVA, and with a 1-1 ACC record and an incredibly competitive ACC conference, they need this win to ensure their post-season future.

From CollegeCrosse.com...

This is pretty much the apex of your month, Syracuse and Duke fans. With both the Orange and Blue Devils' basketball teams in the midst of a liquidation sale, hope turns to the lacrosse field to salvage something out of the spring season. From a more lacrosse-specific standpoint, this game could peel paint off of your walls with both teams are angling for ACC Tournament positioning (Duke is currently 1-1 in league play; Syracuse is 0-2).
