So now we know. The 3-seed Syracuse Orange will take on the 14-seed Western Michigan Broncos in the "second round" of the 2014 NCAA Tournament in Buffalo, NY.
That sound is Syracuse fans scrambling to find tickets to the game (and hopefully, the next one). Here's some goodish news from SU:
Athletics Donors of $5,000 or above have the opportunity to order up to two tickets starting at 10 p.m. Sunday night, March 16 and continuing Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. online and in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office. The ticket will be good for both games in SU's Thursday. Orders will be filled based on 2012-13 athletics donor level. Click here to log in to your MyCuse account to place your request for tickets.
Only Thursday's second round (field of 64) tickets can be purchased at this time. Should Syracuse advance to Saturday's third round (field of 32), your credit card will automatically be charged for the same number of tickets and price purchased for the second round.
If any tickets remain, they will go on sale to season ticket holders and Orange Club members ($4,999 & below) on Monday at 3 p.m.
Of course, you can always go to Ticketmaster route or StubHub route as well. Get ready to pony up.
