There's a pair of top ten battles for both Syracuse Orange lacrosse squads on Saturday. For the men's squad, it's the annual showdown with the hated Johns Hopkins Blue Jays.
As you know, the Orange and Jays are the two winningest programs in Division I lacrosse history and the only two D-I programs with more than 800 wins. So, they've done well for themselves. But, the Orange are down this year and the Jays haven't made it to the Championship Weekend since 2008. So, times have changed.
College Crosse has some vitally-important considerations for the game, make sure you check them out.
Jim Simmons did an in-depth preview of the game for TNIAAM. Make sure you read that as well and give him a follow on Twitter.
Opening face-off is as 12pm and you can watch the game on ESPNU.
Meanwhile, the No. 2 Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse team hosts the No. 4 Florida Gators in the Dome at the same time. The Orange are looking to avenge a loss in the NCAA Quarters last season. You can watch the game on OAA.
