Syracuse Basketball: C.J. Fair Named 2nd-Team All-American By USBWA

Fair led Syracuse with 16.9 PPG.

A few days after being named to the All-ACC 1st Team, Syracuse Orange senior C.J. Fair has been named a 2nd-Team All-American by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association.

The 1st-Team included Duke's Jabari Parker, Creighton's Doug McDermott, Louisville's Russ Smith, UConn's Shabazz Napier and Arizona's Nick Johnson.

Along with Fair, the 2nd-Team consisted of Cincy's Sean Kilpatrick, Wichita State's Cleanthony Early, Iowa State's Melvin Ejim and Kansas' Andrew Wiggins.

ACC Player of the Year T.J. Warren is nowhere be found, just, you know, FYI.

On Monday, the USBWA will announce the Wayman Tisdale Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-America Team, so chances are we'll hear about another Syracuse player then. I mean, we better...
