A whole bunch of Syracuse football recruits were on hand in the Carrier Dome last night for the epic basketball game between the Syracuse Orange and Duke Blue Devils. And today a whole bunch of them committed to play for the Orange.
Coincidence???
First up, Jonathan Thomas, a three-star linebacker from Collins Hill High School in Georgia. (Wait, Georgia, you say? I was told Scott Shafer had burned bridges there! How can this be?!? Oh right, because that whole thing was completely overblown nonsense).
So blessed to be given the opportunity to continue my football career at Syracuse University.

Thomas also had offers from Oklahoma, Indiana and Cincinnati and was recruited to SU by Coach Lea. He received three-star ratings from both Scout, who ranked him 83rd amongst LBs, and Rivals, who ranked him the 73rd best player in the state.

Next up, three-star tight end Adly Enoicy, who flipped from FIU to Syracuse.
Enoicy was previously committed to Florida International but made the trip up to Syracuse this weekend for an official visit. He attends Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Fla., the same high school Syracuse H-back Brisly Estime attended.
Enoicy reportedly had offers from FSU, Miami, South Carolina, USC, Vandy, Wisconsin and more. Scout says he's the 62nd best TE in the class. Rivals only had two stars for him. ESPN, meanwhile, gave him four-stars. Seems like there's a lot of different opinions on the 6'5", 200-pounder. The only opinion I'm concerned with is George McDonald's, who recruited him.
Next, we welcome defensive back Antwan Cordy to the fold. The 5-foot-9, 180-pounder from Homestead, FL chose SU over offers from offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, Hawaii, Marshall and Minnesota.
He had a great time in the Dome last night and possibly an even better time at Dave & Busters earlier in the weekend.
Cordy is rated two-star by Rivals. You can thank, who else, George McDonald, for the recruitment.
Of course, the Orange can't win'm all. Cordy took his visit with Trumaine Washington, a three-star cornerback from Miami who was deciding between Syracuse and Louisville. He chose Louisville. Fare thee well, sir.
Before we forget, the Orange also picked up a commitment on Friday. Defensive tackle Jalen Harvey of Pinson, AL, flipped to SU from Western Kentucky, where he had previously flipped from South Alabama. The 6'2", 300-pounder also had an offer from Boise St.
Seriously I'm done I've decided to sign with Syracuse on Wednesday.

He has two stars from Scout as well as Rivals. Harvey joins Wayne Williams as the only two incoming DTs in the class. Watch some video of him here.
As of the time of this writing, there is apparently a yet-to-be-unveiling fifth verbal commitment from this weekend. We'll update the post as soon as we know who it is...
