The general consensus on the Nike Hyper Elite Dominance uniforms that the Syracuse Orange will wear Wednesday night against the Boston College Eagles seems to be, "LOVE the jersey, don't understand the shorts." Nike's reasoning for the mix-and-match look is thus:
The contrasting jersey-short colors are bold, yet strategic; a symbolic tribute to Syracuse’s 1918 team that was top in the country. That memorable team wore dark jerseys and light shorts while becoming the Helms Athletic Foundation national champion.
Ah yes, that memorable team. We totally remember them, Right, everyone? I'd ask you all to name the starting lineup if I wasn't already 100% sure that you all knew it off the top of your head cause they were so very memorable.
ANYway, what Nike didn't bother to tell us is that, FYI, there is also an orange short option available...
