Syracuse Orange (6-4) vs Colgate Raiders (3-8) GameThread

Hi, Colgate. Sorry about this.

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

The Syracuse Orange and Colgate Raiders meet tonight for the 167th time in the Carrier Dome continuing a rivalry that began all the way back in 1901 when Jim Boeheim was just a boy.

The game tips at 7:00 p.m. and will be televised on ESPNU and ESPN3.

Syracuse brings a 121-45 advantage into the game as well as a 48-game winning streak in the series. Last year, Syracuse topped Colgate 69-50, which is a fairly close score considering the game is usually a 20-30-point SU victory.

Colgate has won two of its last three game, including back-to-back victories against Morrisville (88-52) and Binghamton (65-54). The Raiders lost their last game at New Hampshire, 63-57, on December 14. Senior guard Damon Sherman-Newsome leads Colgate with 14.8 points per game while junior guard Austin Tillotson ranks second on the team in scoring with 12.8 PPG. Senior center Luke Roh is averaging 7.8 points and 6.6 rebounds a game.

Everyone at TNIAAM expects and easy Orange victory in spite of the season's struggles.
