Syracuse DC Chuck Bullough 'Not Looking to Go,' So That's Good

"I'm not looking to go. I'm just looking to go out recruiting on Monday and get this program going in the right direction."

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

While there has been a lot of strum und drang over the Syracuse Orange football offensive coaching staff, perhaps we forget to worry a bit about the defensive staff too. Not in the same way, mind you, but because we actually don't want to see most of those coaches go.

Specifically, we'd like to make sure DC Chuck Bullough sticks around, considering the job he's done in his two years with the program.

It's unlikely that anyone will come along wanting to snap Bullough up, or at least anyone worthwhile enough to jump to, but Bullough wants to be clear that he's happy at Syracuse and not looking for the next gig just yet.

"In the football life, there's always opportunities that come and you've got to sit down and look at them," Bullough said. "But I'm not looking to go. I'm just looking to go out recruiting on Monday and get this program going in the right direction."

"I really love it here. Coach Shafer's a great coach, great man, treats you right. It's a great place to be."

Bullough previously worked for Michigan State and UCLA, in case there are specific spots you want to keep a wary eye on.
