Syracuse Basketball 40/1 to win 2014-15 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship

The Orange enter the season as a bit of a longshot to win the title. That's fine.

Gentlemen & gentlewomen, place your bets. The latest odds to win the 2014-2015 NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship have been updated courtesy of Bovoda and the Syracuse Orange could return you quite a pretty penny if they happen to make a crazy run.

The Orange are currently getting 40/1 odds to win it all. That's up from 33/1 back in April.

Interestingly, the Orange were "only" getting 25/1 odds to win it all last season, and you could make a very strong argument that team looked a lot better before the season.

The Kentucky Wildcats are the odds-on favorites to win the National Championship, which explains why they were so hurt when Boeheim didn't think they could win it a few months back. They're getting 7/2 odds, which have improved from the initial 5/1 they were originally getting.

Following them are the Arizona Wildcats and Wisconsin Badgers, both getting 9/1, followed by the Dick Vitale Duo, the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels, both of whom are getting 12/1.

Other schools of note include the Louisville Cardinals (25/1), Villanova Wildcats (28/1), Virginia Cavaliers (40/1), Connecticut Huskies (50/1), Pittsburgh Panthers (75/1), Florida State Seminoles (100/1), Georgetown Hoyas (100/1) Miami Hurricanes (100/1) and Notre Dame Fighting Irish (100/1).
