Syracuse Orange (3-8) vs. Boston College Eagles (6-5) GameThread

The 2014 season comes to an end today. For the best, really.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Last season, the Syracuse Orange went into the final game of the season against the Boston College Eagles with a chance to earn bowl eligibility. This year, not so much.

The 3-8 Orange are hoping to end the disappointing 2014 season on some kind of positive and beating rival BC on the road would do just yet. As for the chances of that happening, well...

The game will air on The ACC's RSN, kicking at 12:30 p.m.

The Orange will suit up in the all-white uniforms today, topped off with the orange helmet. Well that's nice.

There are some serious #OrangeEagle points on the line today. Syracuse is ahead 33-27 but this game is a 12-point swing.

No one on the SU staff seems to think the Orange have a chance to win today. It'd be nice to be wrong.
