The 2014-2015 Syracuse Orange basketball season is barely underway but we've already got an update on three potential non-conference opponents in 2015-2016.
We already knew the Orange would be headed to the Bahamas for the 2015 Battle 4 Atlantis. Now we know what the field will look like.
The teams participating alongside Syracuse will be the Connecticut Huskies, Michigan Wolverines, Texas Longhorns, Gonzaga Bulldogs, Washington Huskies, Texas A&M Aggies and Charlotte 49ers.
The 2015 early season tourney will take place just about one year from now and it'll be a chance to watch some great basketball in a ballroom. While the location might be tropical, the basketball accommodations leave something to be desired...
Don't know about you but I'd love to see a Syracuse - UConn showdown in there somewhere, though it's impossible to know who the Orange will end up playing.
The good news? No Cal! They cannot get back in this. Least not this one.
The bad news? Michigan appears to be on the fast track to becoming the new Cal. Enough with them!
