Syracuse forward Tyler Roberson is inactive for Tuesday night's game against Loyola (MD) with a groin injury, Syracuse.com's Mike Waters reports.
Waters says that Roberson has been attempting to play through the injury, and that a source confirmed he will miss Tuesday's game and was scheduled to have an MRI on Tuesday.
Syracuse.com's Donna Ditota reported earlier today that Roberson was limited in practice on Monday with an abdominal strain. So it appears this was that issue (or maybe not?).
Ditota says B.J. Johnson took over Roberson's forward position with the starters in practice. Johnson is on the floor as a starter tonight in place of Roberson.
Roberson has played in all four games this season for the Orange, averaging 6.5 points and five rebounds in just under 21 minutes per game. We'll keep an eye out as we go through the holiday to see if Roberson's status changes or if this becomes a longer-term issue.
