Tonight, one Syracuse Orange squad looks to get their season started on the right foot while the other attempts to elongate their season with both feet.
Jim Boeheim's basketball team begins its 114th season when they host the Kennesaw State Fighting Owls at 7:00 p.m. in the Dome. The game will be televised locally on Time Warner Cable Sports as well as online on ESPN3. The Orange enter the game ranked No. 23/24 and look to extend their consecutive non-conference home winning streak to 52 victories. Jared has the full preview of the game here.
Meanwhile, the No. 1 men's soccer squad take on No. 19 Louisville in the ACC Men's Soccer Championship semifinal, kicking off at 8 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. SU is the 2-seed in the tournament and Louisville is the 6-seed. The winner will take on the winner of the Clemson - Notre Dame match earlier in the day. The game will also be televised on ESPN3.
So, fire up the ol' ESPN3, get your CooneyFace on and get ready to root for some Orange.
