It's week seven of the college football season, and your Syracuse Orange (2-3) kick off on Saturday at noon against the No.1-ranked Florida State Seminoles (5-0) at the Carrier Dome. There have been a lot of SU injuries lately, so who's actually playing for the Orange now? The athletic department has released the following depth chart:
Obviously the glaring change on the offensive side is with regard to the quarterback position, where Scott Shafer's listed Austin Wilson OR A.J. Long as Saturday's starter given Terrel Hunt's injury. Omari Palmer's also officially been shifted to the starting right tackle position, which is a likely indication we don't see Ivan Foy for another week at that spot. Defensively, there are no changes -- which makes sense for a group that's forced a ton of turnovers in recent weeks and has failed to suffer any major injuries of late (knock on wood).
