Syracuse vs. Clemson: Tigers Open As 16.5-Point Favorite

Clemson beat Syracuse by 35 points last season. Vegas isn't quite that bold this time around.

The Syracuse Orange ended a four-game losing streak this past weekend by beating the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. They're going to be hard-pressed not to start another one when they travel to Death Valley to take on the Clemson Tigers next Saturday.

Vegas has installed Clemson as a 16.5-point favorite over the Orange to start.

The Saturday, October 25 game will kick at 7:00 p.m. EST and will be televised on ESPNU.

The No. 21/20 Tigers (5-2) are coming off of a tough 17-13 road win over the Boston College Eagles. After starting the season with two losses in their first three games (to No. 9 Georgia and No. 2 FSU), they've rattled off four-straight wins and seem primed for another solid season.

Meanwhile, the Orange (3-4) are trying desperately to parlay the momentum of the Wake Forest win into something that can get them back into bowl contention. A trip to Clemson, SC during Homecoming doesn't bode well but SU hopes to at least get some moral victory mileage out of the game like they did against FSU.

Last year, Clemson throttled SU 49-14 in the infamous "F*** YOU, DABO!" game. I wonder if Clemson fans will remember that.*

*That's sarcasm. It's all they'll be talking about this week...
