Week 8 College Football Polls & Rankings: Mississippi State Jumps FSU For No. 1

New, comments

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are the No. 1 team in all the land. How did we get here???

Spruce Derden-USA TODAY Sports

Fact: The Florida State Seminoles came into their game Saturday against the Syracuse Orange as the No. 1 team in the nation.

Fact: By Sunday, they were no longer the No. 1 team in the nation.

Conclusion: Syracuse knocked FSU out of the No. 1 spot. WE DID IT, YOU GUYS!!!!

So where do ACC teams now sit in the polls now? FSU is a solid No. 2 (heehee), Clemson checks in at No. 24/22 and that's it. Previous SU opponent Notre Dame is at No. 5 in both polls as well. Duke and Georgia Tech also received votes...
