Donovan McNabb's No. 5 Retired By Philadelphia Eagles

McNabb's first jersey ceremony went off with a hitch. Good practice for the next one at Syracuse.

Thank God they didn't boo.

While you know him as former Syracuse Orange quarterback Donovan McNabb, most people know him as former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. The six-time Pro Bowler who led the Eagles to the NFC Championship five times and threw for 30,000 yards and 200 touchdowns with them was honored by having his jersey retired during halftime of the Eagles's game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night.

And they didn't boo. Thank the Lord, there are miracles.

McNabb will also have his Syracuse jersey retired during halftime of SU's game against Wake Forest on November 2. Now I have absolutely no concerns about Donnie being booed there...
