ESPN Ranks Fab Melo Second-Worst Player in NBA

Greg M. Cooper-US PRESSWIRE

ESPN.com and the TrueHoop Network are ranking every NBA player for the third straight year. A list of the 100 lowest-ranked players can be viewed here.

The bottom of the barrel contains a handful of former Orange players: Hakim Warrick (403), Donte Greene (415), Kris Joseph (452), Arinze Onuaku (494) and Fab Melo (499). Fortunately Fab narrowly avoided the embarrassment of being ranked last overall - unfortunately the only player he beat out was Royce White, who has never played in an NBA game due to an anxiety order that prevents him from flying.

The rest of the rankings will be revealed between now and October 29 (opening night for the NBA). It will be interesting to see where the rest of the SU alum fall - I'd imagine that Carmelo will be the only one to crack the top 100, but we'll see where MCW, Wes and others end up.
