We'll do a full recap of 2013 Syracuse Orange Football Camp Day Two, but there's one piece of info that stands out.

John Kinder, who has been a quarterback since arriving at SU and is one of the QBs "battling" for the top spot, seems to have changed positions.

John Kinder, who had been fourth on Syracuse's depth chart at quarterback, lined up in a green jersey on Tuesday, signifying a switch to wide receiver.

"John is a good athlete who knows the offense and asked for the opportunity to get reps at wide receiver," Syracuse coach Scott Shafer said in a statement via Sue Edson, the university's assistant director of athletics for communications for football. "I said yes."

Smart move by Kinder, who was probably never going to see the field at quarterback. He was certainly out of the race this year and even if Terrel Hunt doesn't win the job this season, he's almost certainly the frontrunner for it next season. And with a bunch of young bucks coming up, the junior needed a Plan B.

It's good-ish news for Charley Loeb, who pretty much just wrapped up the No. 3 spot on the depth chart.

As for where Kinder can fit in with the other wideouts, that should be interesting to see.
