The MSG network announced that they will air live ACC football and basketball games this season. Also, Orange Fizz catches up with SU football player-turned-rapper Shu Mungwa.

"It was a business decision. Music lasts longer than football because at any given moment your career could be over, and that’s it. I figured it was a better economic choice to do the music over the football. I couldn’t do [football the way it] made me comfortable. But music, there is nobody telling me what to do. I can do that to the best of my ability because I can always do the way I feel is best for me."

Most of the Atlantic, including Syracuse, is clustered. The Orange didn't draw any of the top three teams in the opposite division, but they also don't face Duke or Virginia. It evens out. Regardless, Syracuse didn't receive an unduly harsh hand in its first season in the league.

The MSG network has announced that they will air live Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) football and basketball and Big East basketball this fall. The deal is identical to one that the YES Network, also based in New York City, recently signed to air ACC games.

"They may take a little dip. I could be wrong. The Big East was a better league than people think. There were some good ball coaches down there."

"It's good. It's a competition just like the quarterback," McDonald said. "There are a lot of young guys who may not have played last year, but we have a lot of talent. They are going to go out there and compete. The biggest thing is we want to give those guys an opportunity to display their skills."

The best performance of the bunch, though, probably belonged to Anderson. Nassib's numbers were moderately better, though they came against an Akron team that would go 1-11; Anderson fared well on the road against a West Virginia outfit that would turn in a 7-5 record in former Mountaineers coach Don Nehlen's final season.
