Luke Arciniega is a JUCO transfer who could make an immediate impact.

2012 Stats: At Sierra Community College, Luke finished last season with 87 total tackles, 52 solo tackles, 5.5 sacks and 20 TFLs last season in 11 games and was named a first-team selection on the in the Northern California Football Association's Valley Conference all-star team.

2013 Projections: Luke is expected to make an immediate impact in the LB corps. He's listed as the backup to Marquis Spruill at MLB and sure to see the field at some point.

How'd He Get Here?: Arciniega initially attended the University of Nevada but left the school following a "miscommunication" over an injury. Last year, he was also getting interest from BYU, Memphis and Miami, to name a few. But after his visit to SU, he committed and didn't waver even when Doug Marrone and his coaches bolted.

What'd Scout/Rivals Say?: Luke got three stars from Rivals and two from Scout.

Money Quote: "I just kind of felt at home [at Syracuse]. The visit had a lot to do with (my commitment)."
