Name: Travon Burke
Position: Fullback or, according to SUA, "Full Back."
Year: Junior
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 245
Hometown: Syracuse, NY
High School: Corcoran
2012 Stats: None to speak of.
2013 Projections: Burke is unlikely to see too much time on offense as he sits third on the FB depth chart. But he's a prime candidate for some special teams action.
How'd He Get Here?: Burke was an All-CNY talent and was named Defensive MVP of the Upstate-Downstate Game in 2009. However, he never received any offers. His brother played for Tyrone Wheatley at Eastern Michigan and was kind enough to put in a good word for his younger bro. Wheatley offered Burke a non-scholarship chance and here we are.
What'd Scout/Rivals Say?: Nothing.
Money Quote: "My first plan is to graduate. After that, if football is still here, then I’d love to do it. But if not, I just want to be a successful person that can take care of his family."

Interesting Nugget O'Interest: Burke came to SU as a linebacker but was moved to fullback last season.
