Orlando-based Syracuse Orange fans, this is your time to shine. The NBA's Summer League in Orlando will take place Sunday, June 7 and run through July 12 and while it's happening, six former Orange players will be taking part, per Mike Waters.

Representing the Philadelphia 76ers will be first-round pick Michael Carter-Williams as well as free agent James Southerland.

The Boston Celtics technically have two SU players on their roster but only one will be eligible to play. Fab Melo will be on the court but Kris Joseph will have to sit things out since the trade that will send him from the Nets to the Celts doesn't become official until July 12.

Brandon Triche is in town with the Charlotte Bobcats, who will be playing for his NBA life.

Meanwhile some old, familiar faces will be returning for a shot at the bigs as well. Mr. Double-Double, Rick Jackson, will suit up for the Utah Jazz. Jonny Flynn, last seen in Australia, will get another shot at the NBA with the Indiana Pacers.

Some key games pitting former Orange against one-another are July 8th's Battle of the Guards between MCW (Philly) and Flynn (Indy), July 9th's game pitting Flynn and the Pacers vs. Melo and the Celtics as well as Thursday July 11th's Pacers-Jazz showdown reuniting Flynn and RickJack.

The day after the league ends, the Las Vegas Summer League begins. And for those waiting to get a chance to see Andy Rautins (Chicago Bulls) and Demetris Nichols (Milwaukee Bucks), your time will be then.
