Marcus Sales, the former Syracuse wide receiver, has signed on with the Atlanta Falcons and is on their roster for training camp. Sales, who caught 64 passes for 882 yards and eight touchdowns last season at SU, was undrafted but attended multiple rookie minicamps earlier in the summer. One of those camps was that of the Falcons.

NFL training camps have all officially started, with the last of the 32 teams beginning their preseason this past weekend. Of those teams, 13 include former Syracuse football players, two of which are reigning Super Bowl Champions on the Baltimore Ravens. A total of 16 former Orange are listed on active rosters heading into the 2013 season.
Kris Joseph, the Montreal native, and Andy Rautins, whose father Leo was born and raised in Toronto, are two of the 18 players on a training camp roster that includes Cory Joseph (Texas, San Antonio) Andrew Nicholson (St. Bonaventure, Orlando), Tristan Thompson (Texas, Cleveland), Myck Kabongo (Texas), Brady Heslip (Baylor) and Junior Cadougan (Marquette).
