The days of inviting four or five players to Media Day seem to be behind us. Since there's no clambake or lobster-eating contests anymore, I suppose that's fair.
When Scott Shafer heads to the Grandover Resort located in Greensboro, N.C. on July 21 and 22 to introduce the Syracuse Orange to the their new conference at the ACC Football Kickoff, he'll be joined by center Macky MacPherson and defensive tackle Jay Bromley.
It will be Bromley's second-consecutive media day trip and Macky's first. Bromley is one of only four players to be making a repeat appearance at media day precedings.
