Recent NBA Draft history has been kind to Syracuse players. Since 2009, Jonny Flynn, Wes Johnson, and Dion Waiters have all been lottery picks, while Andy Rautins, Fab Melo, and Kris Joseph have also been drafted later on in the night.
Tonight we expect Michael Carter-Williams to join the ranks of recent Syracuse lottery picks, though there seems to be a rather large range in which the 6'6" point guard may fall. MCW is expected to be in attendance at the draft, which will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
James Southerland has impressed scouts with his excellent shooting, and may hear his name as early as the late first round. Brandon Triche is also hoping to hear his name called tonight.
Coverage of the draft begins at 7 on ESPN.
