This leads me to two way too early conclusions:
1) This could very well be a watered down version of the playbook for Manuel. It doesn't make sense to within the first few months throw the entire kitchen sink of NFL verbiage at a kid. Ease him into it and go from there.
2) Nate Hackett does have a very watered down NFL playbook meaning that this is either a sign that Marrone will fail or a sign that Marrone and Hackett have found simpler is better.
All I know is that whatever offense the Orange ran last year worked against other collegiate opponents and especially confused the Missouri secondary.
I'm more interested to see what the comments yield in the way of more information or witty remarks I couldn't think of for twitter.
