The Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse team made it a clean sweep for SU athletics in the first round of the Big East Conference Tournament Thursday, as it earned a impressive 19-6 victory over UConn.

Freshman attack Kayla Treanor tallied six points to help the No. 5/5-ranked Orange (15-3) advance to the finals where it will face host Georgetown, who defeated Loyola, 16-14, in the other semifinal contest. The championship game will be played Saturday at 1 p.m. ET and will broadcasted on CBS Sports Network.

The win was Syracuse's 10th consecutive and put them in a position to earn the program's third Big East Tournament crown, its first since 2008.
