Doesn't matter if spring practice is already over and we're four months away from the 2013 season, the Syracuse Orange continue to add members to the 2013 Class. This time it's Miramar High School WR Sean Avant.
You might know Miramar as the high school Keon Lyn attended.
Rated three-star by Rivals and ESPN, two-star by Scout, Avant had committed to FIU in December. When the school fired Mario Cristobal, that caused Avant to look around again. He then apparently flipped to Florida Atlantic, where he would have been a walk-on. Assumedly the new staff at Syracuse made a late pitch and Avant chose to attend Syracuse. Previously he had offers from West Virginia, Wake Forest, Temple and a whole lot of MAC schools. He also visited Louisville, Marshall and South Alabama in recent months.
Avant was the Sun Sentinel's No. 22-ranked player in Broward County last season.
