Jim Boeheim stopped by Bud & The Manchild show Wednesday and had some interesting Boeheim-y tidbits to add to the Final Four, ACC Schedule, non-conference schedule, Dome center court and NBA Draft conversations.

On the Final Four run and the idea that Syracuse had "a good year."

"I'm disappointed. I can't let the fanbase dictate how I feel, cause most years they're mad at me anyway. I can accept that it's a good year but I can't accept that we didn't play to the level we needed to...we did what we needed to do defensively and offensively we did not."

On the ACC schedule and spilling the beans on a potential Villanova game...

"Our fans got an unbelievable break in that Duke AND North Carolina are gonna come here. We're gonna have N.C. State. We're gonna have Villanova, which we're pretty much locked in, having them come up here this year...this is a premiere schedule. You've still got Notre Dame, you've still got Pittsburgh and those other teams."

On potentially putting a basketball court in the center of the Carrier Dome for one of those game...

"The dilemma is this. We've got 15,000 season ticket holders. You put yourself in that position. You're paying extra money to get your seats...They're gonna be moved thirty yards further from their present seat for the biggest game of the year, to accommodate 7,000 fans who have never been to a game. You're gonna punish people who are paying, some up to $6,000 for seat, and moving them thirty yards...thirty yards is a long way."

You're also going to give the players a wholly different home court than you're used to. so you're giving up something there."

Listen to the whole interview here. Make sure you stick until the end when Boeheim keeps rambling so they try to "play him off" with music like in the Oscars and he totally ignores it. Fantastic.
