Joseph (6-7/215) becomes Brooklyn's second NBA D-League Call-Up of the season, joining the Nets from the Springfield Armor. In 27 combined games for Springfield and Maine this season, Joseph averaged 18.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 steals in 34.0 minutes per game. Acquired from Maine on February 11, 2013, Joseph has started 15 games for the Armor, averaging 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 steals in 34.1 minutes per game.

Ian Rapoport of reports that the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, and Jacksonville Jaguars will be in Syracuse to work out Nassib.

No. 8 SU already has wins over No. 10 St. John's, No. 11 Johns Hopkins and No. 19 Virginia. Barring a disastrous collapse, Syracuse (6-2) has positioned itself nicely for a tournament bid. The Orange knows these next two games -- Saturday at No. 7 Princeton and next Wednesday against No. 2 Cornell in the Carrier Dome -- will play a major role in its seeding when the bracket is set on May 5.

Eric White joins the Syracuse football program as the director of recruiting operations. Head coach Scott Shafer hired the 2012 graduate of the University of Kansas to coordinate the program's recruiting efforts. White worked in the same role at the University of Arkansas and the University of Wisconsin.

That means the Orange may have, modestly, the second best chance to win the national title this weekend, but their (and Michigan’s) chances are well lower than Louisville, which has the team playing the best and the much easier (relatively speaking) semifinal draw.
