Whether or not you're one of the 20,000 fans attending Syracuse Orange football spring practice this Saturday, you've probably got some hopes, dreams and expectations.

Syracuse.com has projected the "starters" for the game and although it's meaningless speculation, it's still interesting to see Terrel Hunt and not Charley Loeb up top. I mean, we've kinda been seeing this happen over the last few days, but, still...

Chris Carlson points out that we're probably going to see some Pistol. Scott Shafer admitted "it's part of what we're messing with," so expect to see it messing with the defense. For his part, Hunt is a big fan:

"I love it a lot," Hunt said. "It gives you time to read the end longer, whether you want to hand the ball off or take it. The running backs have a whole vision of the field. From the gun they had to read real quick. In the pistol they can see the whole field (that's what Jerome Smith) told me. They can do any moves they want and wiggle through the hole."

Michael Cohen mapped out a few storylines worth following on Saturday. Some are obvious (who will follow Ryan Nassib?) while some might not be top-of-mind, like will the linebackers take charge?

Marquis Spruill, Syracuse's best linebacker, slides back to the middle to take Diabate's place, and that opens a spot for Cameron Lynch on the outside. Spruill and Lynch will team with Dyshawn Davis, a hard-hitting junior who started all last season, to form the strongest unit on the defensive side of the ball.

Newcomers Luke Arciniega, a middle linebacker, and Josh Kirkland, an outside linebacker, should also see the field as well.

But what about you? Are you going to the game? If so, what are you most excited to see?
