This Saturday at noon, the Syracuse Orange football team will hold its annual spring game. There will be pomp, circumstance and a whole lot of three-quarters speed football.
Last year, attendance for the game was 3,716. The year before that? 4,206. In Doug Marrone's first season? Roughly 5,000. Spring game attendance is what it is.
But don't tell new offensive coordinator George McDonald that. He's got some rather lofty goals...
