Let's preview Wednesday's game between the Syracuse Orange and DePaul Blue Demons.

Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

DePaul, I'll miss you most of all. But before we part and almost certainly never play again except for the rare tournament opportunity, we'd like to have you over one last time to say goodbye.

Let's preview Wednesday's game between the Syracuse Orange and DePaul Blue Demons.

Date: Wednesday, March 6

Time: 6:00 p.m. EST

Location: Carrier Dome, Syracuse, NY

TV: Big East Network/Time Warner Cable Sports/SNY/Others

Announcers: Jason Benetti, Bob Wenzel

Radio: Syracuse IMG Network/WAER 88.3/WTKW 99.5 FM/ESPN 97.7 FM/Sirius 123/XM 197

Records: Syracuse 22-7 (10-6), DePaul 11-18 (2-14)

Rankings: Syracuse No. 17/16, DePaul UNR

DePaul's Last Game: In a battle for the bottom, DePaul proved they truly are the dregs of the Big East by helping South Florida end their 10-game losing streak, 83-73.

Series: Syracuse leads 9-4.

Current Streak: 6, Syracuse

Last Game: Kris Joseph scored 22 points and pulled down seven rebounds in a nice bounce-back from his scoreless effort against Seton Hall as the No.1 Syracuse Orange remained perfect with an 87-68 victory over the DePaul Blue Demons.

DePaul Last Year: You're not going to believe this but DePaul finished last in the conference with a 13-19 record. Shocking.

DePaul Coach: Oliver Purnell (3rd Year) - Purnell came to DePaul with the intention of turning them from doormat to destroyer and, well...it hasn't happened. His success at Clemson is in the rearview mirror and his Blue Demons are about to finish dead last in the conference for the third-striaght season.

"Fear Me, I've Killed Hundreds Of Timelords": Brandon Young (16.8 PPG) and Cleveland Melvin (16.5 PPG) are among the conference leaders in scoring. However, beyond them, there isn't much else to back them up.

Fun Fact: DePaul made it to the Final Four in 1979. I just thought you'd like to know that.

Unexciting Reason To Watch: It's DePaul.

Exciting Reason To Watch: It's Senior Night, so it's your last chance to see Brandon Triche and James Southerland in the Dome. Whether or not you're bummed out by that news is up to you.
