I'm still not entirely sure how we got here and we certainly ruined some vacation plans along the way, but the Syracuse Orange will attempt to get back to the Final Four for the first time since 2003 when they take on the Marquette Golden Eagles in the Verizon Center at 4:30 p.m. EST. The game will be televised on CBS, but you already knew that.
There's something harmonic about it all. A chance for SU to exorcize a lot of demons in one fell swoop. Vengeance against Marquette, whom we owe for beating us earlier this season and in the tournament a few years ago. One more chance to beat down a Big East opponent (and get a head start on beating the Catholic League). And of course, getting Jim Boeheim to his fourth Final Four as a head coach (fifth overall).
Not much else to say. Gird those loins, ladies and gentlemen.
