Malcolm On The Outside: JUCO OLB Malcolm Howard Commits To Syracuse For 2013

Navarro College OLB Malcolm Howard has given his verbal commitment to play for the Syracuse Orange this season, per CuseNation.com.

The 6'2", 210-LB is listed as a sophomore, runs a 4.6 40 and was ninth on Navarro in tackles last season. The SU coaches must see something here beyond the stats. Navarro is one of the top junior college programs in the nation.

Howard previously played football at Yates High School in Texas where he was a All-District 4A-21 First Teamer.

Howard visited SU this past weekend along with Oklahoma Sooners QB transfer Drew Allen and a couple other recruits.
