The Syracuse Orange defeated the California Golden Bears on Saturday to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. Here are the quotes to prove it...

Michael Carter-Williams throws down on Zone-Haters:

"There are a lot of ways to try to beat the zone but, personally, I don't know what works. Everybody has their opinion, but nobody tells Duke, when they play bad ‘man,' that they should go zone. So, why would anyone tell us to go ‘man' when we play zone? The Georgetowns and Pittsburghs have been playing against it for years, so they can break it down a little bit. But if you're from the West Coast, it's going to be tough for you. The zone works for us, and it's led us to the Sweet 16."

Baye Moussa Keita on the Syracuse 2-3 Zone:

"Yes, I would love to play against our zone. Because, I know everything we are doing and I would know where I would have to be to be in an open spot. But if I had never seen our zone? No. No. No. I would not want to play against it."

Jim Boeheim on whether or not the game was pretty:

It was not pretty. It was not pretty. Honestly, I don't think I can describe it. It was about as ugly as I think it can get. We turned it over and made mistakes and they stepped out of bound and threw it out-of-bounds. And it was just -- it just wasn't pretty

Jim Boeheim with an interesting sidenote...

Arkansas is probably the toughest place I've ever taken a team to.

C.J. Fair breaks it all down:

"The game wasn’t pretty. But ‘survive and advance’ is all that matters."
