Remember when you whined last year about how spring practice was closed and Doug Marrone is a dictator and everything is terrible and all that? You were so weird about that.
Well, no need to get all weird this year. You'll get to see some Syracuse Orange spring practice this year and you won't even have to go to Rochester to do it.
First-year Orange head coach Scott Shafer has an invitation for Syracuse fans: Come out to watch the Orange scrimmage during three Spring practice sessions. In addition to the annual Spring game on Saturday, April 20, fans are invited to watch the team practice sessions, which will include scrimmages, on Sunday, April 7 and Sunday, April 14.
Shafer and the team will begin Spring practice on Tuesday, March 19.
Check the full spring schedule here.
Gone is the annual trip to Rochester that had become a staple of the Doug Marrone Era. Guessing Scott Shafer wants to get down to it and not waste any time with trips and messing around. Fine with that.
Will we know who the signal-caller for 2013 will be by the end of spring practice?
