The Syracuse Orange will continue to play the St. John's Red Storm in the coming seasons, so it's not quite the sad send-off that it is with many other Big East squads. However, it's still the last time the two teams will play in the Carrier Dome as conference foes. Let's make sure we get this right...

St. John's Last Year: The Johnnies struggled to finish 13-19 (6-12) and lost in the first round of the Big East Tournament to Pittsburgh. They've had better.
St. John's Coach - Steve Lavin (3rd): Lavin had a solid first season (22-12) but had a tough time replacing his graduates last year. He also missed a bug part of the season recovering from prostate cancer treatment, which, is a very acceptable reason to miss part of the season.
"Fear Me, I've Killed Hundreds Of Timelords": D`Angelo Harrison is the big star of the squad, averaging 18.5 PPG and shooting 32% from three-point range. Jakarr Sampson is the other big scorer on the squad, averaging 14.5 PPG.
Fun Fact: Syracuse isn't the only Big East school who's former stars are making their mark in the D-League.
Unexciting Reason To Watch: James Southerland probably won't be eligible.
Exciting Reason To Watch: James Southerland might be eligible!
