As expected, the Syracuse Orange dropped again in this week's polls. Despite losing two in a row, they're still barely in the top ten with a No. 9 ranking in both the AP and Coaches.

In the AP Poll, it goes Indiana, Florida, Michigan, Duke and Kansas in the top five. They're followed by Gonzaga, Arizona, Miami, Syracuse and Ohio State. Other notables are No. 11 Louisville, No. 17 Cincinnati, No. 20 Georgetown, No. 23 Pittsburgh and No. 25 Notre Dame.

In the Coaches Poll, the top seven is exactly the same. The coaches are way higher on Michigan State (No. 8) than the AP (No. 12), before agreeing on Syracuse and Ohio State to round out the top ten. Other notables are No. 12 Louisville, No. 17 Cincy, No. 21 Georgetown and No. 25 San Diego State. Notre Dame and Pitt were the first two teams outside the rankings.

In the ESPN Power Rankings, Syracuse is tenth overall. Eamonn Brennan is still sold on SU (No. 5) while John Gasaway (No. 13) and Miles Simon (No. 13) are not.

The AP Voter You Arbitrarily Hate This Week is Scott Mansch of the Great Falls Tribune in Montana. He's got Syracuse down at No. 14, which, is actually understandable. Of course he's got Louisville five spots ahead of us, which, isn't. In case you're wondering, Jon Wilner has us at No. 13 and Ron Morris (somehow) kept us steady at No. 10.

The AP Voter You Arbitrarily Love This Week is Tom Keegan of the Lawrence Journal World. He's got Syracuse all the way up at No. 6. He's also got Louisville at No. 7. I'm beginning to think he's not aware of what's happened in the last two weeks.
