Before they defeated the Seton Hall Pirates, the Syracuse Orange also lost to the Connecticut Huskies this week. And so, the team moved down a couple notches in both polls, dropping to No. 8 in the AP & No. 9 in the Coaches.
In the AP Poll, Indiana remains your No. 1. They're followed by Miami, Gonzaga, Michigan St., Florida, Duke, Michigan and then the Orange. Other notable teams in the poll including No. 10 Louisville, No. 11 Georgetown, No. 17 Marquette, No. 20 Pitt and No. 25 Notre Dame.
In the Coaches Poll, Indiana is also No. 1, followed by Miami, Gonzaga, Florida, MSU, Duke, Michigan and then the Orange. Other notables include No. 10 Louisville, No. 11 Georgetown, No. 20 Marquette, No. 22 Pitt & No. 25 Notre Dame.
In the ESPN Power Rankings, Syracuse is down one spot to No. 8. Chad Ford (No. 12) and Miles Simon (No. 13) remain suspect of SU while Myron Medcalf (No. 6) and John Gasaway (No. 6) are our big supporters.
